Festo, a family-owned company and a global leader in automation technology and technical education, headquartered in Esslingen near Stuttgart, has firmly embedded the principle of lifelong learning in its corporate culture. Festo was a pioneer in automation using pneumatics. Today, Festo draws inspiration from nature in the field of bionics to develop future technologies. Festo has maintained close ties with the Luftmuseum since its founding in 2006. To mark its 100th anniversary, guests at the Luftmuseum can look forward to a special exhibition featuring innovative exhibits from the fields of bionics, pneumatics, and educational technology.
Accompanying the anniversary exhibition, the Luftmuseum is offering technology workshops for young people. Further information.
